Montmorency tart cherry is a variety of sour cherry grown in the United States, Canada, and France. It has a unique phytochemical profile that includes anthocyanins, which are known to neutralize free radicals and are responsible for its bright red color.*

Studies have shown that tart cherry have excellent anti-inflammatory properties, and can help reduce inflammation associated with chronic diseases.
